Saturday 18th April - Lancia Club of Ireland Day Out - Let the photographs speak for themselves.
The men (and women) of Ireland organised a day trip to explore the exquisite scenery of the County of Wicklow including the coast road north towards Dublin and inland around the mountains and lakes.
The Boys - Terry and Jim - the enthusiast and the map geek.
The Car - a 1982 2 Litre Lancia Beta Spider that has been extensively but sympathetically modified. It has an upgraded "fast road spec" engine with higher compression ratio and modified head but standard cams and standard twin choke webber carbs. It also has lowered and uprated suspension with Lancia Thema Turbo 15 inch wheels and the addition of power steering. It also has a new wiring loom which can be useful in a 27 year old Italian car!
The Jaunt - April 2009 to southern Ireland. Leaving England via Wales (Fishguard) and entering Eire through Rosslare. Two days touring around the Ring of Kerry, then two days near Wicklow.....and home.
The weather seems to have cheered up!

Beautiful. How did you get the shot from above - a quick climb up the cliff face, was it?
