Storms dogged us the whole way up from Cork, but nevertheless the intrepid travellers managed about half the journey with the "lid" off. But eventually the rain became so heavy that we had to stop and put the "lid" back on.
On arrival and before unpacking we took a stroll out to the shores of the lake and took a few photographs of the dramatic scenery with the storm clouds continuing to roll in.

ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry we weren't able to join you but circumstances have forced us to move house yet again. All is well but we are surrounded in boxes and I don't know where anything is although last time I looked Claudia my black Monte is still in the garage awaiting her new abode!

Hi Mary - it wasn't really on the cards, but the landlord got greedy! Stressful, exhausting and unnecessary. We will recover in time.
